Footprint For God

Footprint For GodFootprint For GodFootprint For God

Host a Footprint for God Legacy Weekend

The Footprint for God Legacy Weekend is designed to engage Christians with their spiritual legacy, develop a biblical understanding of stewardship, and discover that estate planning is a part of good stewardship.

Legacy planning has been long overlooked in the church and most Christians have failed to protect their family with an adequate estate plan. In addition, most Believers equate giving as stewardship. True Biblical stewardship is much more than giving, and it encompasses all areas of our life including money and giving.

Facts:

In 2011, 84% of Southern Baptist Churches did not provide legacy training to their membership

60-70% of Americans die without a valid will which gives the government complete control of the family’s estate.

Senior Adults—Recognition Dinner to Honor Seniors Adults

Celebrate the life and legacy of your senior adults with the goal of helping them to finish strong. Stress the need for legacy planning and estate planning as a part of biblical stewardship.

Young Families—Saturday Workshop

Build a foundation of biblical stewardship and show why good money management is important for God’s children. Teach how to build a Godly legacy in your children and explain how financial planning and estate planning can protect your family.

Complex Planning--Special Luncheon

Each church has a small percentage of people with more complex planning needs. Business owners, individuals with complex trusts or those who have accumulated wealth. Having a second opinion on their planning options from a Biblical stewardship perspective is a healthy endeavor.
