One of Kenn’s favorite speaking memories was in a college speech class. His chosen topic for a persuasive speech was, “Contrary to Popular Opinion, Everybody is Going to Heaven.” (Dramatic Pause) “The Question is Who will Remain?” In a secular college, the professor told the class, “I wish I had a video of that.”
Kenn has been communicating with groups of all sizes for most of his career. His diverse background helps him identify with people from all walks of life. More recently Kenn has turned to writing as a communication tool. His published works have appeared on CBN.com, in BEST Stewardship Illustrated, several blog posts, and in the Upper Room devotional guide.
It was only four years after Kenn invited Christ into his life that he went on his first international mission trip to Columbia, South America. It was on that trip in 1974 when God began to reveal a love for missions and ministry in his life.
Combined, Kenn has served over 19 years at headquarters of The Gideons International and Faith Comes by Hearing. Kenn has a background in Financial Planning and Estate Planning plus holds the designation as a Chartered Financial Consultant ChFC®. He worked as a Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors and a Vice President in Wealth Management for First Tennessee Bank.
Today Kenn helps Christians develop a Biblical understanding of stewardship and answer the question, “Why has God blessed me?” His passion is helping people see how they can build their spiritual legacy and leave a godly footprint on this earth.
Kenn and his wife LuAnn reside in Middle Tennessee. They have three children and three grandchildren.
